HELP: Stabilizer Bar/Linkage Replacement

Can those who had this work done/replaced please provide me with the part numbers so I can deal w. MB accordingly.

My c32 "knocks" over bumps worse than a 1969 pickup!

Also, did MB "upgrade" the Stabiliser Bar with a thicker one as well?

TIA

swaybar link

You need to replace the swaybar links. I'm doing the same thing on mine this weekend. They wear out quicker with harder suspension and rolling on 19's.

Don't have the part #'s sorry...

it is a known issue

with the C class, my suspension is AMG "stock" but I recall various owners of all C Classes with this issue.

btw you should'nt have to pay for it, MB should honour their replacement as the part is NOT doing its job!!

Mine have the same knock and I originally thought the noise come from the bushings that hold the bar, how do you tell if they are broken by looking at it.

I think they are something like $60 a piece

Bushings would not make that noise.

Put the car on a lift, all four wheels off of the ground, get under the front end and just move the swaybar links up and down. If you hear a metal to metal sound, the link needs to be replaced. Fairly cheap to replace.
