Appropriate measure of the wheels c55
hi
I know that the measurement of the front tires are Abarh
225/40/18
Background
245/35/18
Where I encountered difficulty in finding the back of measurement which is
better
255/35/18 or 245/40/18
Will there be a significant impact on the drive??

I believe the factory rear tire size is 245/40/18. The 255/35/18 has a minimal difference in overall diameter, therefore leading to minimal speedometer error.

The stock rear tire size was 245/35 R18.
However, the C55 can easily take 255/35 R18 in the rear with absolutely no problems, which is what the stock CLK63 came with.

Current: C217 V12TT AMG Previously: C55 AMG, SL65 AMG
Stock rear was 245/35/18, but it really should have been 255/35/18. Fits the wheel better and more square, looks better, sidewall height is the same as the front and overall diameter matches the front.
