Unhappy Strange high-pitched metal hitting noise from rear..

Just letting you guys know that I've been doing plenty of research through this forum but haven't find any similiar issule..

I noticed this noise coming from rear couple month ago.. It didn't really bothered me but wondering where it is coming from..

It makes high-pitched metal hitting noise like once or twice only when you floor the car or down-shift to 2nd or 1st gear...

It sound like 2 metal is hitting agaist each other..

Anyone had similar issue?? It doesn't go any faster or slower with speed..

It only happenes when I floor then like once or twice... tick-tick or tick.. like this..

oh yeah.. I switched to OEM wheel to test but there's nothing to do with wheel.. because it still makes noise..

Please help.. I will try to post video clip if that helps~

This may be a stretch but, have you looked at the drive-shaft heat shield? Mine was falling and making strange noises like that until the tech got up in there and cut out the offending piece.

Buying a new one is stupid expensive, so just cut what you've got.

Hmm, it's a little hard to tell on the vid but, I don't remember mine sounding like that. The sound at 9 secs. is harder to detect but, the 17 sec sound seemed like you had dropped a coin on a concrete floor.

This sounds like a job for a professional.

Keep us posted.

I went to 3 different shops today but they are unable to figure out yet..

It's not from the wheel, and not brake.. because they literally disassembly brake... where could it be???

Funny thing is.. It doesn't make noise as long as i easy on pedal...

and It doesn't happened all the time....
