Audio Upgrade with JL Cleansweep "Confused "
Hi all, hope to get some help here.
My car has the comand 2.0 with Bose setup, from my understanding i have front & rear channel and a sub powered from the Bose amp.
So i need 5 channel amp to power the speakers.
I'm planning on purchasing the JL Cleansweep but it only has 4 channels (front & rear), what should i do with the sub? any ideas please
I was planning on getting a Hi Lo converter for the sub but i'm not too sure if it will work well with the JL cleansweep?
Has anyone done this conversion?

we used to use the cleansweep, awesome piece but it's way too expensive for what it does and for what you need to do, you need a summing device which is this http://compare.ebay.com/like/1406755...Types&var=sbar
lately, we've been using a piece by audiocontrol that costs less, works just as well, has the aux. and allows up to 8 channels! no need to buy the extra summing devices for the extra channels, it's all built in.

Thanks Michael for the advice, Audiocontrol seem to be an more of a complete kit, price is good too.

yea no problem, i just noticed that you haven't purchased anything yet so yes, go with the audiocontrol device if you have not purchased anything yet (just a suggestion actually)
i have no experience with the mtx piece and have actually never seen anyone ever use that piece before. i would say you should purchase the audiocontrol piece from me, but shipping+ the product piece to hong kong wouldn't be worth it for us

yea that is true chris, the audiocontrol device is limited in tuning capabilities in comparison to the cleansweep. you have to use a cd to precisley tune the clean sweep though and i don't think the OP's original stereo plays cd's.
