Ah, those glorious 15 seconds...
... right after a wash and wax job, when the sun is out and the weather is cool, when black is the only color and your car is the only car in the world. When the music is playing mildly in your stereo, a whole weekend ahead of you, ah, life is good for those 15 seconds when the car is clean.. 
Anyone know if AMG uses special paint? I have had 4-5 people come up to me even before the wax job asking if the car is new or if I got a new paint job. In fact, my dad who has a black merc also complains how my 06 shines better than is 2012. Wondering if AMG trim came with some sort of special paint?!

They used more scratch resistant paint based on nano technology which contain microsopic ceramic particles. It is supposed to be 3x more scratch resistant and have a 40% higher sheen than the previous clearcoat.
