C32 AMG

AGM Battery - Worth Getting?

So i need a new battery for my 02 C32

My local supplier has advised me to get a AGM battery as they are designed for the modern vehicles with loads of computers etc etc.

ive never heard of them before...

he can supply me with a normal style battery aswell but said if it was his car he would go for the AGM one.

What you think?

I would recommend just buying the factory Mercedes battery from the dealer. They've been known to last 8 years.
