Mine has done it for a while. C32 is on, and you rock the steering wheel like you are turning left to right or vice versa.. when the steering wheel reaches its normal straight position it clicks. You can feel the click, not really hear it. Dealer says its normal. Curious if everyone else has this same thing.
I have a click as well, you feel it during certain road events. I think someone said there's a plastic bushing in the shaft joints; not important enough for me to stress over it.
Interesting. Thank you! Is that plastic bushing a necessity or is its sole purpose to alleviate that click?
You know when I wrote this earlier, I didn't mean to put the word plastic in there. There's a bushing or connector that gets worn out. It does have a purpose, it's the connection of the steering shafts. I haven't looked at this problem in a long time so if I'm totally wrong I do apologize. I came across some information a long time ago when I was doing a search.
Yeah, no prob. I appreciate the insight. Better to start somewhere than nowhere. I am gonna bring it up when I bring up my other issue at the dealer. If something comes of it, I'll pass the info along here.
