headlight ballast?
Hey guys long time no see.
Just got some work done on my car (new oil level sensor and new MAF...weird idle/throttle issue a while ago...take out your k&n's asap!) but just realized that my ballast on my passenger side headlight went out. Does anyone know where I could get just the ballast for it since I don't want to spend 900 dollars a new headlight after getting raped already for the new oil level sensor and maf?
Thanks guys.

Do you have to replace both sides at the same time?

You don't have to replace both sides, but it would be a good idea to know that both should last the same amount of time. Flickering could be various things, but if that ballast is bad, then yes it will fix it.

Ballast is the same as "control unit" right?
Is the igniter a totally different/separate part?
The eBay listing you posted says "ballast, control unit, igniter" in the title.
So basically, the 3 places to check when you have flickering issues are:
1. Ballast/control unit
2. Igniter
3. Bulb (unlikely for flickering issue).
Is this right?

Thanks. To make sure I have my terminology correct:

Thanks so much! Now I gotta find time to take apart my whole front end again to get the headlight out lol...
