GREAT JOB TURBO!
Great job turbo got mine in today they look great! I'll put some pics up when I mount them. Btw what do you guys think is the best way to get the old adhesive off?

I have used both fishing line (monofilament line) and dental floss both with good results. You use a sawing motion to run it behind the badge. From there some solvent (perhaps citrus based) to remove the remaining adhesive. Test before hand in an inconspicuous place on the paint to make sure it does not harm the clear coat.

Perhaps someone else could advise on solvent use.

Rubbing alcohol should work fine. Once upon I time I found a special spray meant for removing stickers, but was never able to find it again.

Need more details on the brakes of the black C55 above!!!

Brakes are off a CLK 63....6pot calipers with two piece rotors in front and drilled and slotted 4pot rears....they give the car a completely different look, I want them on my 32 so badly!!! Not the mention the thing stops on a dime, incredible

got mine 2 years ago right after I bought the car. Found same pair on E-bay, have not seen them available in a long time. They do give the car a more current look. Well worth it!!! If you dont have em try em!

Thanks. I wanted the Slk55 4 yrs ago but passed it up for an Clk500 Cab. then again for an CL55 AMG. During that 4 yrs driving both cars, I keep dreaming about the Slk55. I finally pick her up 6 moths ago fromTexas and drove 1500 miles home to California !!
