Seat stitching back to BRIGHT WHITE? anyone....
Im curious if anyone has cleaned the stitching on their seats? My stitching is not "dirty" but what you would expect from blue jean and normal oils and dirts penetrating into them..
Im considering using a bit of diluted laundry detergent and a medium tooth brush, will the detergent have any negative effects on the leather?
I am about to try out leatherique and figured i would pay some attention to the stitching.
Thanks in advance..

I've never heard of anyone actually doing this. I would perhaps test it on a location that won't really matter as much just in case the detergent did do something undesirable to the leather. I would think the toothbrush and detergent would improve things. Just be careful and don't apply too much pressure. I would also wipe it down after so no detergent residue remains on the leather.

I am no expert but why not use proper stuff, you can get the leather cleaner and afterwards go over it with a leather polish to protect it. All the usual car care brands have these products and its not a bad thing to do every once in a while to keep the leather from deteriorating.
