Reverse need wait 1 sec ??
Dear all,
2002 C32, during some quick U turn in narrow road (Front back front back front....etc) If just change to Reverse shift, the car need wait 1 second to start move. If press to the throttle "too early" with that 1 sec, the car will no movement and jerk to move reverse after 1 sec.
Is it normal ?

are you serious?...... Most automatic trannys take a second after gear selection to actually get into gear. So yes, when ever you select a gear, forward or reverse, you should wait til the actual gear engages before you hit the accelerator

Hmh.... I have an R170 SLK230 before (sold now)
I remember that the Reverse gear response is very fast, at least much faster than my C32 now.... just memory in my mind
