Weird Power Steering Problem
My C32 just started doing something weird...
I just had the front end rebuilt (all 4 control arms and 2 tie rod ends). Now the front end is nice and tight. I also just moved to an area with curvy roads.. bye Florida.
When I go around a corner, the assist level of the power steering is changing. The steering goes from firm (nice) to too easy and back again. It oscillates between hard and soft steering as you go around a corner. If you hold the steering wheel it oscillates back and forth in your hands mid corner. It's weird. I would think its suspension except the effort in the wheel changes.
I think the fluid level is OK but I will double check when I get out of work. I know in the past the pump would make noise if it got low. Right now it isn't making any whining or noises to make me think it was cavitation.
Any ideas?
