Module with part number 0315457232. What is it?
My friends C55 had it in the trunk. It was installed but was not plugged in nor were there any plugs in the area to plug it in. What is this module for?\

Looks like it's a trailer coupling control unit.

AllData gives little to no info, other than listing it with a # of N28/1. Apparently this is a transformer for trailer lighting, and Hella makes a replacement unit http://www.hgvdirect.co.uk/catalog/h...-p-500985.html

Although it seems odd that it is listed as a 24V to 12V item...

So weird they would just install a $200 module and not even use it. It's wasted money.
