KLEEMANN C55 header special
#28
They're absolutely worth the money. I bought and installed them (7 hours labor) and they're really nice. Great sound, and a lot quicker on the throttle. Only problem is the wife's new car is not in yet so I've had to "lend" it to her for now cos she won't drive my W211 diesel. It's killing me!

I did. Done by Eurocharged here in Houston. Worth the pain, even if you have to send off, methinks.

In SC we have no smog regulations, no inspections, no requirements. its like a free-for-all down here. I'm suprised we have license plates

When fitting Kleemann headers, primaries always go away.
I have secondaries in place, but no resonator.
The sound is AWESOME, but little bit TOO much so I´m
going to put the resonator back on. It´ll be loud enough
I think when hitting the pedal but I´ll get rid of the drone
when cruising the highway.
So, no primaries, keep the secondaries, the resonator and
rear mufflers in place. That´s the way I´m going.

The headers come with downpipes.
The exhaustsystem shall be cut exactly where the downpipes
come down, cut in a 45 degree angle approx.
Then welded together!

After welding it looks like this:
