2007 C55 AMG?
i know the C55 was sold on the US market from 2005 to 2006, and was dropped in 2007 even though the '07s kept the same body style. does anyone know if the C55 was sold in other markets for the 2007 model year? for example, was there a 2007 C55 that was sold in europe or asia? just a little confused why it was dropped in the US only (if that's the case). thanks for the input.

Yes, the W203 C55 was sold as a 2007 model outside of North America. The 2007 C55 had shift paddles on the back of the steering wheel (which replaced the buttons which were on the 2005-2006 models).
My guess is that MB did not anticipate a large number of buyers for a 2007 C55 in North America.....which probably led to the decision not to import it for sale here.
