Hey everyone,

So I bought this c55 a few weeks ago and finally got it back from the body shop. I noticed that it feels as if there is no assist in the power steering when at idle and moving the wheel. It feels fine when driving, but I have no noises or anything. Noticed the fluid in the reservoir was below min, so I topped it off with chf 11s.

Still having the same issue. Any ideas what this can be? Its really strange

Not sure if this can be rack or pump, or a circulation issue.

maybe high pressure hose is leaking from power steering pump..

Have you driven another C55 to compare? The C55 does have much heavier steering than a standard W203.

Yes. Def no assist at idle. I think there was air in the system as of now its working. I have to drive it now to see if its fixed

Still having same problem with power steering.....

No assist at idle but fine when driving. Not sure if I should get another pump or rebuild mine with the seal kit
