Why are ODPS so expensive?

Why are ODPS so expensive?
I've seen ODPS kits for other vehicles w/ superchargers for as low as $75 for the pulley (ASP). Why are MB Kits so much more? Is it the low volume? The R&D?

Pullies for SVT fords is so much cheaper and they give you 3 different sizes for around $300! but overall it's expensive because it's benz and ppl pay for it!
