thanks.. i guess patience is a virtue.. it finally paid off.

What's next? The lorinser rear spoiler, and i want those dual exhaust + modified bumper ( i don't like the lorinser bumper.. i might have to mod stock bumper to accomodate dual exhausts).

The springs that are used were the H&R Cup Kit. This car is mostly done for cosmetics.. hardly ever will i use the car performance wise.

The wheels look fantastic!! Great pics.

The rear is a little low for my taste as well. Also, you may want to consider the clear side marker lights for your car. They make a huge difference in the appearance.

Someone had commented that you need to get rid of that front license plate. Some states require it, and I'm assuming that's a personalized one that you ordered?

Yeah it is a requirement. The pre-painted side marker will be ordered either today or tomorrow. Baby steps My main concern was to get the wheels on the car which seemed like it took forever.

There appears to be a "gap" in the front between the tire and the wheel well, whereas the "gap" does not exist in the rear?

Other than that, nice job!!

Harris, I used the factory bump stops/spring pads with the H&Rs as recommended by the installation manual. I dunno why it sits lower then yours though.

I love the Pirellis, they are quiet.. but can't tell, the car only has 80 miles since i got it on but so far i can tell you they are really good tires.. only if they didn't wear out so quick.

Peter, i was going to e-mail you higher resolution pics tonight but it seems like you got to this thread sooner then i could e-mail you the pics.. thanks for your all your help and i greatly appreciate it..

yeah, I've seen HREs. Aren't they a Japanese based company? anyway, IMO they ain't all that. Carlsson, Brabus, AMG, and Lorinser all have much better looking rims, and they serve the same function at a cheaper price. I think most people are getting HREs because they have a pricier the better & showoff mentallity. Most probably didn't get the HREs because HREs are stronger forged and lighter. Just my opinion on the sworm of people rushing to get HREs.

I went with HREs because they look very good and have that high quality build to them. and nobody can customise them the way we wented it.. If i had gone with other wheels, i don't think the Rims would have fitted with out rubbing, being a custom made wheel, they made it to our specs and we changed the specs around to accomodate for the lowering.

p.s. it's not a japanese based company.

what you saying is definitely true that some people need'em because HRE does custom works. BUT, my counter argument is that if people want better performance in a effective way, they would've follow what aftermarket tuner or manufacturer recommanded for the right tire/wheel size. It can be easily done without spending a lot more. Of course unless they want to go bigger than what the recommandation is, they will need custom works.

Harris, did you use the OEM bumpstops with your H&Rs?

here is a pic for a quick reference.

Yup! Compare this picture with your 5th picture on Page 1. Your rear tire is "thinner".
