Where could I go about getting this separate system and is it going to be better than what I have now or the same

It will be better, my IAT's on average went down after installing this:

+1. This would work. I use an external reservour from Code3, but they are impossible to source now.

so im a bit confused if i put this pice on i dont need this intercooler. ? or do i still need it

Yes, you still need the IC, and separating the cooling may make your new IC last longer.
