More than likely it should be the drive shaft support bearing, but you never know the drive shaft could go bad. Hopefully labor won't be too costly, but you never know with mercedes dealerships.. Parts shouldn't be too bad, but I'm sure the repair kit with the bearing would be cheaper than a whole drive shaft.

I've read that the job with the right tools doesn't take that long, but it's when you get stuck and have to invent new ways to reach bolts or figuring out what tool to use is what will cost you time.

could be the flex disc.

I've found out that I notice it much more in colder tempertures..

Id check your flex disc. Its rubber, so cold could affect it. Also, if it gives out while youre driving you could be in serious trouble.
