2003 C32 AMG

passenger foot airvent not opening

Hey guys i had this problem since i got my car.
The passenger foot airvent doesn not open. It makes a clicking noise but does not stay open.

I tried to get to it but i could not reach it.

Does anyone know what the problem could be and how do i get close to it so i can do some fixing?

sorry to be the one to break it to you, this issue is related to the stepper motors in your dashboard, this is one of the most expensive fixes for our cars.

what needs to be replaced and how much is this fix?

i found a DIY on this forum for this fix.

I will just need to order the parts needed.

thats pretty costly considering that its the arms that need to be changed.

Its due to the location of where the stepper motors are that make it so costly
