Dyno with Kleemann headers.
A couple of weeks ago I dynoed my C55 Estate at Kleemann HQ in Denmark.
The real purpose to my visit was to put back my resonator since I was
tired of the drone at highways and noise, not really worthy an MB in my view!
Before I´ve installed K&N´s. After that a Kleemann ECU-program and after that Kleemann TCU-program. -Very nice improvements!!
Finally I went for their headers (without primary cats but with secondaries).
The sound without the resonator was awesome, really! Too awesome in the long run.
Now, with the resonator back on, the sound is perfect: silent at cruising but roaring when you hit it
with a distinctive V8-sound! OEM it´s too silent in my view, -the sound got stuck in the primaries.
Now I wanted some hp-numbers too...
I don´t have any "before-after"-numbers.
Kleemann measured the "european way"; crank-hp and Newtonmeters.
They calculate in their bench the drivetrainloss which is approx 100 hp on
a C55, before calculating final hp and Nm (DIN). 15 degrees Celsius in the testarea.
Factory numbers: 367 hp @ 5.750 rpm.
Kleemann numbers: 413,9 hp @5.665 rpm.
Factory numbers: 510 Nm @ 4.000 rpm.
Kleemann numbers: 561,8 Nm @ 4.125 rpm.
The numbers sound reasonable to me and I´m happy!![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

No, no wheel-hp.
2 pictures when I picked it up in Germany a few years ago:
Before it was "living" in Rome, Italy at an embassy.

45hp is reasonable for a ECU tune, exhaust work, and kleeman headers...but they're off by qa bit with the 100hp loss in the drivetrain...its closer to 70-75
I had mine dynoed completely stock when i bought it and I put down 305hp at the wheels and 316 tq if i remember correctly

I think you´re right there maverik 259, the salesperson who said that the day after on the phone wasn´t one of the two who dynoed the car.
100 sounds too much. But I believe in the final numbers though!

Thank you very much! ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
The hat I got from Kleemann but it can be bought many places in
Europe, maybe Cory can sell you one? Good quality!
Watch out for the 4-wheel drive if you´re going for a Volvo V70R.
If the tires are worn uneven, it can damage the 4-wheel drive!
The system is not "real" 4-wheel, traction is 95% in the front...
