Tire size on lowerd c32 help!

Hi people i posted elsewhere but was informed i should here(better results).
I am a new benz owner and will never buy anything else i love it. It is a 2003 c32 amg ,what i am wondering is i want to lower it was thinking springs (1.8/2)
if i do will a 19 inch rim fit with out hitting?also what is the widest tire i can run on the back/? I know you are all going to say run coil overs but this is a toy that my wife drives n she does not understand how high curbs are any pictures of spring drops would be helpful also.

In my experience, I went with 19"'s, 235-35-19 front, 265-30-19 rear. With stock suspension, and rolling the rear fenders, it rubbed under hard cornering or with people in the back seat. After coilovers and a drop, rubbing all the time just hitting a bump in the road, plus it rode too hard for me. All bumps in the road felt like running over a curb. Plus, the front eventually wore out my fender well plastic shroud.

If I had a lil Honda, maybe that would be OK, but IMO not in a Benz. Altho it looked awesome, I also noticed it slowed me down considerably, so I went back to OEM, and now to C55 OEM 18's. 225 front and 255 rear.

Also a ton of info in this thread:
