03 silver C32 AMG

Resale Value

Do AMG cars retain a higher percentage of their resale value than NON AMG cars?

Will the upcoming C55 AMG substantially lower the resale value of the C32 AMG?

Nobody Knows! The C55 might even raise the resale on the C32! With all these 430hp C32's blowing the wheels off the 365hp(and heavier) C55

430 HP C32's? The 55 has far more tuning potential.... Not to mention torque that the V6 will never have....

Sure, the c55 motor probably will have more tuning potential, but it is DEFINITELY cheaper to tune a car that already has a supercharger than a NA one.

Just love when tuned cars get compared to factory rides. I have to believe that the new stock C55 will outperform the C32. Apples to Apples, that all.

Then again the 209 CLK55 does not outperform the 208 so I guess we will have to wait and see.
