Does de new E55 wheels fit in a C32?
Do these wheels match the stock 17's in appearance? I want to run 18's in the rear with 265/35/18 and put my stock rears in the front with 245/40/17. Then use one of the stock fronts as a spare and sell the other.
I think the C55 is rumored to have 17s" front and 18s" rear!
the rims on the E55, CL55, and S55 dont fit on the C Class
i love those rims.
Harris can you email me the price of the style IV AMG in 18s too?
thanks

Those are the rims I'm also buying. Please post more pics, they look sweeeeeet!!!!
I have already ordered the tires which should be with me shortly but the rims are backordered. I chose Goodyear GSD3 tyres.
thanks

Could you post a larger pic or pics, if you have the time, of the whole car like you did with it on the side of a street (your first pic on this thread)? I would greatly appreciate it.
How is the ride comfort with your new 18's vs the standard 17's. I don't expect to have mine on my car till early October!
Since they are backordered and I will be out of the country next month, so even when they arrive I won't be here to fit them on.
However,..... upon my return...
thanks
Re ride comfort - it is a little firmer on sharp bumps, but feels better tied down on fast sweepers. The firmer ride is possibly partly due to the Bridgestone S-O3's. What are the roads like in Kampala - where is that? Not Uganda, surely?
However, there are at least 6 other people I personally know running 18inch rims on their benzes. All AMG rims because to date that's the only rim that is made strong enough to withstand a pothole if you wack it at a decent speed. One guy I know accidently hit a number of deep potholes on his CLK 240's 18 inch rims while doing 140-160Km/h, at night, out of town and damaged one tire and very slightly dented the edge of his left front rim, but you could hardly notice it untill you looked closely. Another friend once got replica AMG rims and kept getting them dented untill he bought a real set and no problems since! AMG seems to be using a much stronger aluminum than all the other manufactureres including the standard Mercedes rims! Their quite tough!
