MBH 3.2 headers
#51
Did the motor make 40 more HP with the headers open? Usually we open our headers at the track. Another thing is what about torque gains at lower rpm's. It's not all about peak numbers. The 3.2 SC motor makes peak power at redline, kinda useless at that point. I was considering having the TCU programmed not just for quicker shifts but to have the shifts at 6500rpm. That would have the SC spinning at 15,500rpm, just about perfect.
I am interested in seeing a dyno pull and compare it against a pull without the headers. I would think the headers made more torque under the curve than the run without the headers.
Are you the one who listed a 15hp increase with the cat delete pipes? Is that whp on a dyno? I was hoping for more like 25-40hp with 4 cats eliminated. Thanks
