Need Some Buyers Guide in Buying a c32 AMG
Hey Everyone!! Im new to the forum and am looking to buy a 2002 C32 AMG from a local in Vancouver. Im not too sure about the car but dam it was a fast car when i test drove it.
The Car information: 146kms, has beyer sport suspension and also the intercooler pump hasnt been changed. Regular oil change and maintenance was done like the valve cover gasket replaced, transmission fluid replaced and gasket replaced too .
So i need some information from you guys if it is a good buy or am i going to be looking at a major maintenance headache at the 100k miles mark..

As long as the service has been done, and the vehicle hasn't been redlined its ENTIRE life... it should be a *relatively* decent car.
Honestly I wouldn't own a 10-11 year old AMG car without some sort of aftermarket powertrain warranty.
My C32 only has 78K miles, but has a full warranty on the engine, transmission, differential, supercharger, all seals & gaskets, etc.
If you have doubts about the vehicle the best thing you can do is bring it to a STAR certified mercedes mechanic for a pre-purchase inspection. He will let you know what you are dealing with.
Good luck in your choice, the C32 is a fun car to drive.
It has ruined me, I never want to drive anything not AMG!

There isnt any powertrain warranty since its from a local private sale.. to be honest i am tempted to dive into this car just because of all the benefits it has...
Any other C32 gods out there that wanna give their opinions??

My 2002 has 62k miles with no major issues besides intercooler pump replaced and both seat modules failing, both being easy fixes.. As far as 100k miles on these cars, Id say they take it well.. There are many +100k's here and they all are still enjoying the car.. I still jizz when I smash the pedal on mine as if it was the first time..!!
