C32 DIY Oil changed- I researched!
...and research, and researched. After going through countless threads, I think I have the details. I have a 2003 C32, 56k, and I live in HOT AZ.
Mobile 1 Euro 0W40 (Walmart has the best price I can find)
If I can't find Euro, is the regular type still ok?
Mann fleece filter (Autozone?)
Some say to replace the drain plug each time (thoughts?)
Drain method (do I need to remove both plugs? or is just the rear one ok?)
I normally get the car to temp before I begin (thoughts?)
I have researched that it is best to remove the filter first
Plan on oil every 5k, filter every 10k
Sorry to beat this topic to death, but would like some confirmation. Thanks, Mike.

I used Mobil 1 0w40, mann filter, I got a 2 pack from ebay, it is the oem one very cheap.
The oil extractor is the easiest/cleanest way as far as I am concerned but there are different opinions on this.
I would change the filter with the oil change, it is so easy sitting right there on top of the engine and the filters from ebay are something like $10 each, no excuse not to.
I loosened the filter a touch, drained the oil then changed the filter. I still got oil everywhere but thats how I roll.

The oil change on a c32 is very easy. Lift the car. Remove the plastic splash guard which is held on by 6 screws. Remove the drain bolt. The oil filter is very easy to get too, on the top of the motor. It is a paper cartridge filter and should come with 3 or 4 o rings the also need to be changed with the filter. Filter should always be changed with the oil. Every time. The whole process should take no longer than 25 minutes.
