Where does the long spring on a C32 AMG parking brake assembly go

Where does the long spring on a C32 AMG parking brake assembly go
I recently destroyed my parking brake assembly when I put new aftermarket rims on. The lugs went straight through to the assembly and mangled it. I purchased a new assembly and am going to attempt to install it although I can not figure out where the longest of the springs is supposed to go 
anyone please help.

There are three holes in each shoe. middle hole in each shoe is for the hook spring that keeps the shoe tight against the plate. hole where the lever goes (i don't remember if it's the top or bottom) has one spring, 180 degrees from that is where the star adjuster goes with another spring.
