Anyone looking to add OEM bluetooth to their C55?
I sold my previous C55 and purchased another one and this one came with the oem bluetooth components that are NLA from MBUSA.
I see various people online, ebay, etc selling the kits for $900 +
I am thinking to put together a write up with part numbers on the actual modules and the "B" part numbers you can no longer get are the only numbers floating online.
Since teleaid is useless, all someone will need is the actual bluetooth module ( silver box ) that goes in the passenger side trunk area, bluetooth puck, and contact plate which you can buy from dealer for $100.
Should cost no more than $400-$500, maybe even less.
$100 for used puck
$2-300 for the silver box ( cost factor is really determined by getting this unit )
$100 for the contact plate
Are people on here still looking to do this?
