Eurocharged TCU Tune Issue
Hey guys,
I'm having a bit of a problem with the C32 TCU tune.
Before I got the tune, automatic modes worked perfectly.
However, after the tune, my auto modes shift through gears quickly. - to the point where the car is bogging throughout the entire drive. It sucks!
Is my car the only car with this issue or is it a problem with the TCU tune?
I'm sure it can be fixed with a reflash but I waiting for a response back from Eurocharged via PM.
Thanks!

Same problem here for me and couple of my friends. Did not like the software. So we ended buying another TCU-boxes from ebay and now driving on stock TCU. Still have Eurocharged TCU box on the shelf. Maybe suits better for track and 1/4 mile?
Problems with the software on daily use:
- Changes too early to a bigger gear on daily drive
- Requires almost a kickdown if you want to change down
- After a brisk pull will not hold a gear for about 5 - 10 seconds like stock TCU

Did you guys all raise the rev limiters as well? Can anyone post a video of the Instrument panel while going WOT through some gears?
For the early shifting couldn't you send EC your TCU and have them modify it?

Of course I could send my TCU for reprogramming but that would be custom work and a two week round trip from where I live.
Here are couple of runs from 0 - 213 km/h and from 0 - 223 km/h. Max boost pressure 1,28 bar (18,56 PSI). Running on EC 65 mm SC pulley. 62 mm Karmen pulley waiting for installation (stock TCU).

You should check out my friends build from our national forum. He has some great stuff home made.

Same issue here with shifting too early and bogging. Sorry to here the resetting of the adaptations did not work as this was my next step but could not bring myself to spending another $100 on this fiasco.
I wish I had waited longer before buying the TCU flash but the first poster (not the one in this thread) had nothing but praise for the mod. First I send it back for the harsh shift at redline then when I get it back it has this issue plus it seems like it shifts at a lower rpm than the 6200 it originally had. Maybe the lower rpm is how they fixed the harsh shift.
I would go back to stock if possible.

I thought they sorted this out when reading old threads.
I specifically requested stock rev limiter since reading some unwanted behavior using raised limiter. I have EC ECU tune in place and that works well. My max rpm when ODB logging are 5936 rpm before change.

Just ordered the NW dual cold air last week. Was going to make a custom setup, but I just don't have time for it.
I haven't seen too many Karmen 62mm pulleys on c32s. It's got to be similar to the 61mm that I have from EC. I think mine might actually be 62mm measured. Let me know how it works when you put it on and tune for it!

Vaiste001, your friend's work is absolutely SICK!!! I wish I could fabricate like that!
I'm REALLY disappointed to hear you (and others) are having issues with the TCU tune!!! I was hoping to use the EC TCU tune to do a gear swap, but damn...swapping from the 3.06 to a 3.23 or 3.55 would have been groundbreaking!
I hope you get it all straightened out without issue!!!
Agreed!!!
OT, but AWESOME brother! (sorry vaiste!) Your 12.7 on all-seasons is right on par with what I accomplished on street tires before the intake! Can't wait to see what you do!

Setup is about
-Evosport underdrive pulley set(168mm crankpulley) & Eurocharged 62mm comp-pulley.
-Schrick special cams
-80mm throttlebody, homemade snout
-3" intake with mushroom filters, bigger y-pipe
-homemade headers and 2,5" exhaust pipes (both cats deleted) and Supersprint catback
-AEM water/alcohol injection
-homemade intercooler system / intakes / etc
-2x separate cooling circuit, CM90 and one smaller Johnson pump
-Walbro 400lph fuelpump, littlebit different circuit and separate fuel preassure regulator
-NGK colder plugs, Magnecor red wires
-Eurocharged TCU tune (witch is bad)
-Eurocharged ECU tune (witch is bad also, AFR lean)
-and something that I have forgotten
Power is atleast 600horsepower!! Just joking Accurate power is not yet known, becouse that lean issue and eurocharged littlebit poor communication skills.
Maybe coming list is
-bigger supercharger
-bigger injectors
-RE85
-piggyback ecu

I would suggest disconnecting your battery overnight. That will reset the adaptations. An ECU reset does not work in this instance. My TCU tune works as well today as it did the day I got it.

Hey. If the company is turning out poor products they should come correct. They've sold plenty of pulleys and tunes through using this forum as a marketing tool. They should step up with fix options to get you back to stock or fix the tune without the customer paying any additional cost. That's my opinion for what it's worth.

To EC's defense its hard for them to guestimate what A/f ratios a car needs when it has soo much done to it. At that point it's probably better to do car specific dyno tuning. I wish I lived close to a EC location.

Thanks man can't wait for it to get here! Might not feel great about running it for a couple weeks though. those misfires make me nervous!

Does your TCU go through gears quickly when in auto mode? Or is it just as stock?
I can't even use my auto mode because the TCU tune has messed it up so badly... Who wants a trans that shifts at 1.5k rpms everytime even when hard on the gas. It sucks!
