Lemforder Parts???
Has anyone received parts that were supposed to be from lemforder that had nothing identifying them as such? I just got a front thrust arm from CarID that was supposedly made by Lemforder but when I got it there was nothing printed on the bag or stamped on the part identifying it as from lemforder. I don't want to put cheap Chinese crap on my car...especially in such a safety sensitive role.
I called CarID's distro company and was told by the chick who answered that it was from lemforder and she confirmed with them it was made by them. SHe then offered to connect me with them to confirm but after holding for 15mins I was hung up on....

So just to provide an update and not leave this thread hanging CarID finally admitted they sent me a generic Chinese part because the Lemforder arm they advertised as "in stock" is actually out of stock. Got an RMA and pre-paid label to send it back. I just need to confirm I won't be charged a restocking fee before I send it back. I did find one from autohaus for $20 more but who cares as long as its Lemforder.
Moral of the story here is all Lemforder parts are labeled as such. Hopefully this helps someone else our down the road

My Lemförder hardware has always arrived sealed in nifty Lemförder packaging.
They're worth every penny for critical chassis pieces imho.
