Is this normal?? coolant overflow
Hey guys,
so i live in montreal and lately its been around 45 celcius when factoring humidity.
last week I was waiting for the GF, idled the car for about 10 mins(parked), then shut it off, when my GF finally came 15mins later, she said she noticed some fluid on the ground, i checked and it was coolant(green). when i started the engine back up, the water temps seemed fine, creeped into the 94-95 area for a bit.
so yesterday same thing, waiting for the girlfriend. but this time when i started the car and took off, i had smoke coming from the driver side engine bay, only for about 5 seconds, i figured it was coolant overflowing and hitting the exhaust or something.
anyone experience this before, or know what i should check for,
i've already added a bit more coolant, wasn't much
