I searched the forum and saw theres a different DCAI mods that we could puchase ex: Needswings, RennTech CF airbox, etc. I was wondering if anyone ever used a rotary tool to cut out the Flaps inside the stock airbox.... if so would you rec. cutting them and smoothing them out for more airflow. i could also design and print plastic parts in a 3D printer i was thinking of making new flaps that push air toward the airbox output. Any ideas on this? let me know...

I wouldn't mind learning a technique to optimize the stock box...

I did it..... those flaps are to guide the air to quiet it down in the air box ( I think that's what i've read) Given my posts on here, one can see that I'm not a fan of quiet

I cant say I felt a difference. I am looking to upgrade boxes though.
