white and whiter
there's at least a $18k plus difference between a 98 M3 and a 2002 C32. Hope you have that budget in mind when you were talking about "trading"

I wasn't thinking of a straight trade but I didn't think I'd be shelling out $18k+ either. I could just get a Mini and keep the M. Thanks for the input. I might forget about this idea.

MVEED what type of numbers are you turning?
Quarter mile:
HP?
You can modify those E36's pretty well... My friend has one with some RMS mods... he keeps up all the way up to about the end of his 3rd gear...
I personally like the sound of the M-motors better and they're more sporty than the c32's. I recently bought a 2002 M-coupe, that's the one with the new M-motor 321Hp and WOW that thing somkes my C32... it's very light and super quick.

My last dyno was at 256rwhp but the tech couldn't get the dyno working properly and was having some issues with it. He couldn't get an ignition pickup and caused the car to throw a CEL.

I'm planning on taking a trip up to Evosport to get some definite numbers. Vadim was there when we got my car custom tuned and the techs there know how to operate a dyno. I expect to see at least 260-265 at the wheels.

I'm glad you're enjoying your M. They truly are the ultimate all-around performance cars. As you spend more time with your coupe, it will inspire a lot of confidence. I recommend attending a local BMWCCA high speed driving event to learn the characteristics of the car in a safe environment. I guarantee you'll enjoy it.
