Cruise Control Problems
I need some assistance expertise regarding the cruise control. I have a 2002 C32 with about 66K miles on it and yesterday on my drive to work the cruise stopped working. It started working again on my drive home but again stopped working half way home. This morning it didn't operate at all.
I scrolled through my info screen and there are no error messages and everything else is functioning perfectly.
Has anyone had a similar experience that could direct me to what may be causing this? I am ruling out the fuse since it wasn't an immediate failure. Maybe a relay?
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have a 90 mile commute each day and no cruise will most definitely result in a speeding ticket
(yes I have a radar detector)

Oddly enough the cruise worked on the entire drive home tonight. I only set the speed by pushing the switch down and never used the stalk to turn the cruise off. I'll experiment more tomorrow to see if using the up switch also functions normally.
I would still be interested in knowing if anyone else has experienced this and what the repair solution is.

So I did a few more tests over the past day and I'm still not sure what the cause is.
Thus far I can set the cruise control by pushing the stalk down, up and I can also reset it after turning the cruise off with the brakes. Next test will be to turn the cruise off with the stalk to see if that is causing the problems.
I guess the good news is that it's working.
Anyone observe anything similar?
