Book time replace A/C compressor
Hi guys,
My mechanic wants to charge 8.5 hrs as the book time to replace the A/C compressor on my 2005 C55.
This seems ridiculous to me. Can anybody tell me what the official MB book time is to replace the A/C compressor on the C55?
And if you know, how long it really takes to do the job?

You may just want to go elsewhere. It sounds like he doesn't want to do it and wants you to go elsewhere without telling you by pricing you high or if you buy it make it worth his while.
