Stange noise/feel
Lately(last couple of months), whenever i start my car in the morning I hear & feel a strange
"rubbing" noise that seems to come from my engine, i also feel it on the steering wheel. At first i thought that it was my new tires rubbing on the road, because that's how it feels & sounds, but i have since come to the conclusion that it's from the engine. After the car heats up, the noise/steering vibration goes away. I also feel it sometimes after work if my car has not moved & has stayed cold for a few hours. But it is most pronounced in the morning. Has anyone heard, felt or have an idea of what this could be? Thank you all for your help.
p.s. i tried a search on this, but found nothing!

You are probably hearing a air pump doing it's job.
In the morning, start the car and take a look at the pump, it is right next to the coolant overflow bottle. There are problems with them, when they go bad they start making rattling, humming noises.
Good Luck!
