Hey guys, im planning on building a new stockcar. My last stockcar was a W126 300se with a chev 350 V8. My new 'plan' is to get a 190E body and fit a c32 motor into it. Now im sceptical about reliability, I know the M112 is reliable as a dd but will it last being raced? The Chev 350 is almost bullet proof, that's one of the things you USA guys did very well I think the shell and motor will be a deadly combination as my competitors will mostly be e30 325i BMW's and 2.8 Nissan Skylines. Have any of you done or know of someone that has done this conversion yet?

I think you're gonna have too much heatsoak to have consistent power. Maybe better to go with a C55?

hate to say it but road course racing is best done naturally aspirated. Less things to break and much less heat/stress on the motor.
