C32 Instrument Cluster swap help
I have a C32 with the old instrument cluster, the LCD went out and the front plastic has cuts in it (restoring a vandalized C32), my family has a facelifted 05 c class and a 05 e class. If I were to take their Instrument Clusters and put it in mine (to see if the fuel gauge will work, I know the ODO wont but I can track that with a 3rd party computer) will it program or mess up the ones I test? I can fix the LCD but if I can, this is the moment I would like to facelift the car a bit. Hate the stock cluster.

Save yourself some time and money and only fix the LCD. Leave the rest alone. It's an old performance car that can go faster than 95% of the current cars but will forever have a dated interior.

Yes I know it can be a ***** but I read multiple reviews saying the fuel and the odo is the only issue. The fuel "should" work based on my sensors but just need to know if swapping my families in to see what does, could cause any hard to their clusters.
