Bosch Intercooler pump that allows re-use of original connectors?
I've been reading all the great posts about the intercooler pump but am still confused about what intercooler replacement pump to get if you do NOT want do any custom wiring and just plug it right in re-use the existing connector?
I believe the stock OEM pump is the Bosch 0 392 022 003. I read on the crossfire board that the Bosch 0 392 022 010 is the correct replacement pump with exact fit and same connectors the original pump so you can just plug it in with no modifications to the harness or connector wires.
Has anyone used the Bosch 0 392 022 010 pump to replace their original one and confirm if the connectors are the same and no mods needed?
I know there's other pump options like the Johnson and Lightening but those require some custom wiring and since I'm doing this replacement my self I wanted to avoid and go with whatever is plug/play.

0 392 022 010 is for sure the correct replacement pump, and is an exact fit with the same connectors.
I have replaced my 003 pump with the new updated 010 one in my 2003 C32 AMG with no issue.
Cheers

Supgee - thanks a bunch for the confirmation! I am ordering the Bosch "010" pump from FCP euro for about $100 shipped and am gonna try to install my self.
there were some really good posts on the Crossfireforum site about that Bosch 0392022010 pump as well being the direct replacement with no custom wiring to the OEM Bosch 020 model:
http://www.crossfireforum.org/forum/...change-41.html
http://www.crossfireforum.org/forum/...p-srt-six.html
http://www.crossfireforum.org/forum/...acement-2.html
will send an update after i get the pump installed.

The pump is really easy to install from what I remember. I did it by myself in less than an hour. Make sure you have some extra coolant on hand as you will inevitably lose some.

Honestly, the "custom" wiring is really just 2 wires you need to cut and join.
If you're game enough to pull your car apart, splicing 2 wires really isn't an issue.
Call it a an easy challenge.
The hardest part is getting the bumper on and off in the whole scheme of replacing your pump.
