I only like the hood and the grill. I have the same hood but in carbon fiber. The rest to me looks so-so. The front and the rear are just OK and feel a little bit larger than it should be but the side fender vents are hideous.

Fitment is great. No issues. But this hood is from Stone Carbon.

Do you recall if there was a major or slight weight difference with the carbon fiber hood?
Are the vents already cut out in the hood?

I didn't put the hoods on the scale but I have lifted both and would say that the difference is at least 50lb. I went for this hood because of the vents and the looks. In a supercharged setup heat dissipation is very important, especially in a C32 that has very limited room under the hood for any air circulation. The hood came with the vents cut out and the metal mesh grills.

Thanks for the info. Hood looks nice two tone. Did you follow that back to the trunk, too?
Any noticeable difference in handling and braking?
Di the hood bolt up to the stock hood hinges and shocks?
I drag and track my C55 and have been looking to add a lightweight hood and to relocate the battery to get the weight off the front and bring the C of G down.

There was no noticeable difference in handling and braking. The hood was mounded on stock hinges and shocks. The only thing I had to do is relocate the nozzles used for windshield washing since there is no grill any more in front of the windshield.
Unless you are a hard core drag racer and remove all the seats, have an LSD and drag radials, skinnies in the front, I would leave the battery where it is. Maybe get a lightweight battery for road racing. I run 12.4 1/4 mile with my 65lb battery and it's just fine with me.
