178mm pulley and tune feedback

Wanted to share some feedback about upgrading my C32 stock pulley to the 178 ASP pulley and having a tune done by Marcin at Speedriven in Palatine IL.

WOW its freaking awesome the power gain. the 1st, 2nd and 3rd gear power and pull is insane if you drive with the trans in manual mode. the tires consistently squeal in 2nd gear manual when i smash the gas pedal at around 20 or 25 mph and it just keeps going. I havent put the car on a dyno but will do that soon and report the numbers here.

Marcin and the Speedriven guys did an awesome job with the pulley and tune upgrade, but also did a bunch of other work on my car and its running like its literally a new Mercedes but just a **** load faster.

just wanted to share that feedback for anyone who didnt upgrade and tune because the C32 is totally different once you do that and its well worth the price for the upgrade. Marcin said if you go with the 178mm ASP crank pulley vs 185 or the 61 supercharger pulley, then the 178mm can be installed without requiring additional cooling mods and is the best option for a daily driver like me who basically has a C32 kid taxi with baby car seat in the back.

Also i would say that if you live in the chicago area and have an out of warranty C32 then take it to Marcin at Speedriven and that guy will bring the life back into your C32 and it wont cost maybe 50% max of what a deal charges for ****ty work.

best

178 pulley and tune is a solid advice for a daily driver C32.

I have a 178 and tune along with "other stuff" and love it too. It's a winning trouble free combination.

glad to hear another solid review about SD John. I'm slowly accumulating parts for them to do a complete exhaust system for me in a couple weeks. After I've had a chance to get used to the exhaust mods I'll be doing 61mm charger pulley but I thought it was only EC who offered one....does SD make a 61mm pulley?

EC used to offer the 61mm pulleybut now i think they just offer 65. im thinking about selling my 61 and attempting to run the 178 and 65 combo someone on the crossfire forums is running with success
