Just bought a C55, What has to be replaced?
Hello everyone, I just purchased this C55, very low miles.
I was curious what do you guys think will need to be replaced other than the bumper?
Does the hood look broken to you?
Does the hood look like it has to be replaced? Notice the curve on the 1st picture, right of the left headlight

Current: C217 V12TT AMG Previously: C55 AMG, SL65 AMG
Bumper, hood, supports, radiator, frame, probably the fan and other coolers, headlights, and hopefully you can salvage the fenders. Hopefully there's no further damage, which could possibly total the car.
This doesn't mean very much - a real mechanic needs to look at it in real life.

Thank you, I hope it's not as bad as you say. It runs and drives, only 55k miles on it and I purchased it on an auction. It will come sometime next week and my mechanic will let me know what else is needed.

yeah, as viper said: just take it to a good mechanic before the body shop so you know there is nothing that warrants a total write-off before you fix the cosmetic bits. Looks like you will come out alright though. Keep us posted!!

Sure thing, I appreciate the help, I am looking for transport at the moment from Cali to Illinois, so it will take about 7-10 days hopefully, but overall it seems like it is in great condition, especially at the price I purchased it at (6k)

damn good price! Gives you plenty of room to drop a few $$$ into it and still stay under value for one that isn't wrecked.
Make sure your mechanic checks all of the front suspension. Mine was a salvage title and I've replaced upper and lower control arms, inner and outer tie rods, steering rack, strut mounts, and all bushings.
Do all of your fluid flushes too, tranny, coolant, brake fluid.
Those intake tubes look bent way back from where they should be. Like Viper said, definitely all of the supports, and make sure you check the subframe although the pictures look like it wasn't too hard of an impact.
