2006 C55

I have a set of 225/45/18 snow tires from my last car...

Would these work on my factory C55 wheels?

I know the ideal size would be 225/40 all around...just feel silly with these nearly new tires sitting in the garage

Would the taller profile be more of a cosmetic issue vs functional?

I'm aware of the effect on the spedometer.
