timing chain?

now I know its chain driven , but do MB quote a time interval when this chain should be changed or do they basically last the life of the car?

The M113 engine uses a dual timing chain, that should last until about 200k miles.

C32 production years were 2002-2004, the C55s were 2005-2006. Do you mean a C32 then?

C32AMG
60 000 miles is nowhere near for the timing chain to strech...
My C32 has 200 000 miles and recently the chain start to make noises at idle...
I change it few days ago, now it's quite!
60k is nothing for the chain

That's good news. Thought I would ask though, just in case the fact the chain is ten years old became a factor for the chain rather than mileage
