if you could-yes please

check if it fits

225/45-17= 24.97 inches OD
235/45-17=25.32
235/40-18= 25.40

i don't care that it sticks out. i just need it to fit in the well and not roll around.

i have a 02 and i'm driving to the fl keys in 3 weeks, (from ct) ...a spare might be a very handy thing!

tire wear

I store my C32 for the winter at a second home, and when I got it out of hibernation last weekend, my right rear was flat. Took it in to have repaired, and the tire store said it was not repairable, and the tread was very low anyway. The car has about 13,000 miles on it...so I was surprised. After reading this thread, it appears that a lot of the OEM Pirelli tires are wearing pretty rapidly. He said the other rear also would need to be replaced soon. The one tire cost me (gulp) $260 mounted and balanced. I also learned that the spare that the '03s come with are front tires. But at least there is a spare. My new winter car, a Golf R32, has a can of fix a flat!

Blando - i will just remove a wheel and see how much room i have in the well so i need not trouble you any further. thank you.

55 cabdriver- When I picked up my starmarked 02 i was expecting pirellis- but it came with pilot sports. i think it's a great tire and is holding up well but i only have 9000 miles. i did do sets of doughnots on 3 occasions; shredded them a bit but still.....:-)

just an FYI-tire rack has a sale on the sports. They also have the pirelli rosso @ $166.

i had the invisible bra thing done (expel) last saturday. when i went to pick up car the young man doing the job had just taken delivery of a blue r32. very nice car.........my thoughts exactly- perfect winter car.
