Has anyone gone up against a WS6?
My parents are getting a C32 to replace our C320 when its lease goes up in June, now my friend who has a 2001 Trans Am WS6 is a complete trash talked, his car is stock but fast, and I was wondering, would a C32 shut him up? How would it go up against a car like that? Just curious, I plan on letting him think its still my C320, and that I was being dumb and debadged it so it said C32. Our C320 has AMG Wheels, so it wouldnt be a problem. Thanks!

You should be able to at least match him, if not slightly win....IF his car is stock. For very little money, those motors can be modified for serious power.
I stayed even from a 20mph roll with a modded Camaro SS in my CLK55.

You should be better than even with a stock one.
I spanked a brand new one (paper plates) pretty badly last year, but the guy was probably learning how to get the most out of it, and I am sure it was a little "tight" being brand new. Your buddy will surely do better than the guy I raced. But I had a passenger and he didn't.
Go on a cool day (50 degrees or less) with a dry road, launch at about 1000rpm, ESP off AC off etc. Maybe just 25psi in the rears too.

what do you mean launch at 1000rpms, do you mean put the car in neutral rev, to 1000 and put it in drive or do you mean use tip and go to 1000rpms and shift to 2nd?

C32 AMG
I beat a Z28 w/ exhaust from a dead stop last week, my friend's SS conv (320HP) stock, and a white SS (w/ exhaust) on the freeway going 70 mph a few months back. They are fast, but not enough to stay even with the C32. I just pulled away steadily.
