Hi there, new to forum and recently bought a 2005 C55 estate. I've noticed only the backs of the seat warm up? The bases don't? The car is mint and very well looked after, I've checked all fuses and connections and still nothing?? Any ideas?? I also notice a slight bounce in the seat when you jump in the car... It's almost like a slight pop under the seat? The passenger seat doesn't do this but that doesn't heat either on the base??

Broken seat heater bottoms is quite common on these cars, I bought mine like that, and plenty of others have experienced the issue too.

There's a thread discussing cheap aftermarket replacement - not too demanding a task, but does take a bit of time to do.
