WTB: Used but Good Working Supercharger (C32)
My supercharger decided to kick the bucket, specifically, the bearing that's under the electromagnetic clutch went bad and was making a horrible noise (not the bearing on the nose of the supercharger where the pulley sits - I changed that one, no difference made). Tried taking it apart... that didn't work too well - now I see why nobody works on these, R&R!
I am looking to buy a low mile secondhand supercharger, shipped to 90717. Please pm me with pics of your supercharger and how many miles are on it, and your asking price.
Thanks!
But did you checked if the pulley clutch plate has no play/rattle?
This is th main cause of supercharger bad noises
I personally never heard of bad shaft bearings!
Well if it's without oil it's whole different story
